Defunding & Lawsuits Aren’t Enough to Save Education
How schools and universities form the spiritual core of global governance and what Christians must do about it.
The claws of the UN woke marxist agenda are STILL inside our educational systems.

Why You Should Care About SEL, STEM, and Workforce Readiness Programs:
These aren’t fringe programs—they’re everywhere. From public schools to private academies, even Christian institutions, SEL (Social Emotional Learning), STEM, and “workforce readiness” have become the backbone of modern education. They’ve been quietly embedded into school policies through federal grants, state mandates, and global partnerships like the UN’s SDGs and WEF’s Education 4.0 agenda.
SEL is Not Just Bad Policy. It's a Global Spiritual Agenda.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is not simply a misguided educational reform or a soft extension of psychological theory. It is a delivery system for a global spiritual agenda, one that disguises its religious roots in therapeutic language, emotional well-being, and social harmony. To understand SEL is to trace it back not merely to leftist politics, but to a well-coordinated international network driven by the United Nations, the World Economic Forum, and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). SEL is the catechism of a new world religion, one where salvation is psychological, sin is bias, and the highest good is emotional "resilience" in service to global goals.
Far from a grassroots educational reform, SEL is tied directly to UN Sustainable Development Goal #4 ("Quality Education") and SDG #3 ("Good Health and Well-Being"). These goals, ostensibly about improving global education and health, are embedded with ideological aims to reshape human values, identity, and behavior.
UNESCO’s Framework links SEL explicitly to global citizenship, climate consciousness, and human rights education. Students are to be formed into “global citizens,” not sovereign individuals created in God’s image.
The OECD's Learning Compass 2030 outlines a future where children are measured not by knowledge or reasoning—but by "transformative competencies" like adaptability, empathy, and collaboration for sustainability. These are spiritual metrics, not academic ones.
The WEF's Education 4.0 roadmap partners with UNESCO and business leaders to ensure all education systems produce emotionally compliant workers for the stakeholder capitalist(Sovietism) system.
SEL is not a theory, it’s an enforcement mechanism for global governance masked as emotional education.
And despite hopeful political rhetoric, federal defunding alone will not stop it. As James Lindsay warned,
"The left didn’t win by laws. They won by taking over the institutions. If you don’t sue these programs into liability, they’ll just rebrand and keep going."
Programs like SEL and DEI are deeply entrenched in global frameworks and private-sector infrastructure. When stripped of one name, they return under another- "well-being," "resilience," "inclusive learning," and more. Believing a simple change in political leadership will dismantle this system is not just naïve, it’s dangerous. It risks lulling the public back to sleep while the machinery continues to rebrand and advance.
SEL and the False Gospel of Psychological Salvation
SEL does not merely teach children how to manage emotions. It redefines the human soul through a therapeutic lens:
Sin is redefined as bias or bigotry.
Salvation is achieved through self-awareness and social harmony.
Righteousness is emotional resilience in service to collective goals.
This counterfeit gospel replaces repentance with regulation, conviction with conditioning, and identity in Christ with “self-discovery.” It trains children to see obedience not to God, but to inner emotional balance and the moral consensus of the group.
This is not education. It is discipleship in a new religion, one that does not forgive sin, but reclassifies it; one that does not redeem souls, but repurposes minds.
The Real Curriculum: Deconversion 101
Parents, don’t be fooled. Even though Donald Trump has said he plans to defund the Department of Education and cut funding to woke universities, the real war on your child’s soul is still fully operational and bipartisan. The truth is, much of what’s labeled “anti-woke” today is little more than campaign-season lip service. The machinery of indoctrinati…
The Theological Counterattack: Replacing Therapy with Truth
The globalist SEL framework cannot be fought with lawsuits alone. It must be met with biblical resistance that exposes its false spiritual claims.
We must raise biblical cultural critics who understand both Scripture and the ideological systems attempting to replace it.
We must preach sin, repentance, and salvation in Christ—not emotional coping mechanisms or collective virtue.
We must expose SEL as a counterfeit religion that seeks to form children in the image of global man rather than the image of God.
SEL says: "You are enough." Christ says: "You must be born again."
SEL says: "Find peace within yourself." Scripture says: "There is no peace without the Prince of Peace."
SEL says: "Regulate your emotions." The Bible says: "Crucify the flesh."
Rebuilding Education on the Rock
The left didn’t win by lawsuits. They won by taking over language, meaning, morality, and spiritual formation.
To win, we must:
Rebuild the soul of education starting in homes, churches, and faithful new institutions.
Train a generation that fears God more than man, and that forms minds with truth, not therapy.
Establish alternative curricula that anchor children in Scripture, logic, and moral objectivity, not emotions.
This is not a partisan war. It is a spiritual war over the future of the soul.
Make Truth the Cultural Authority
🎥 Companion Interview: James Lindsay on the Global Agenda Behind Education
To better understand the scale and spiritual implications of the crisis we face, watch this vital conversation between Julie Behling (producer of Beneath Sheep’s Clothing) and James Lindsay of New Discourses.
In this interview, Lindsay confirms what many parents have sensed but struggled to name: that woke ideology in education is not just a domestic political trend, it’s a globally coordinated operation, deeply embedded in schools through programs like SEL, DEI, and rebranded therapeutic learning frameworks.
Without legal pressure and spiritual clarity, these programs will simply rebrand and expand. As he James Lindsay puts it, “The left didn’t win by laws. They won by taking over the institutions.”
Watch below to hear:
How SEL connects to the UN’s SDGs and the WEF’s Education 4.0 initiative
Why STEM and even conservative-sounding reforms are increasingly captured
How the so-called “Woke Right” mimics the tactics and worldview of the radical left
And why we must fight back, not just with policy, but with truth and courage rooted in Scripture
“This is not just about education policy—it’s about spiritual formation. The soul of the next generation is at stake.”
👇 Watch here:
SEL is not neutral. It is the religious arm of a globalist revolution.
We cannot simply resist it, we must replace it with a gospel-centered, theologically grounded, truth-based framework for education. Let us raise up a generation who will not be shaped by the world, but transformed by the renewing of their minds in Christ.
"See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ." Colossians 2:8
The future of education is not psychological. It is theological.
James Lindsay’s strategy to fight woke education- legal action via Civil Rights lawsuits to make DEI/SEL a liability- is sound and arguably the most realistic avenue within our current legal system. But there are critical vulnerabilities and missing components that need to be strengthened for this to succeed long-term.
Here’s an analysis of his approach, followed by 7 targeted improvements:
✅ Strengths of Lindsay’s Legal Strategy
Grounded in constitutional law (14th Amendment, Civil Rights Act).
Realistic timeline: acknowledges education will take 20–30 years to fix.
Legal pressure creates real institutional change, unlike superficial policy bans.
Accurately identifies SEL and DEI as rebranded Marxist psychological programs.
⚠️ Weaknesses in the Strategy
It’s defensive, not offensive.
Legal suits react to existing damage, they don’t build a moral vision or spiritual foundation to replace the woke ideology.
Requires brave plaintiffs.
Most parents and teachers are afraid to be targets of public attacks, lawsuits, or job loss.
Doesn’t address curriculum creation.
Even if woke programs are removed, what replaces them? The system will just find a new ideology to insert unless a better moral framework is in place.
No theology or transcendent worldview.
The left uses emotion and spirituality (faux moralism, Theosophy, etc.) to convert young minds. A purely secular legal approach will not win hearts or form souls.
Fails to account for psychological warfare.
SEL is psychological conditioning. You must counter it with spiritual discernment, not just lawsuits.
STEM is underestimated.
Lindsay flags STEM corruption but doesn’t yet offer an offensive strategy. This area is being used to embed SDGs, ESG, and climate-based behavior modification.
No parallel institution-building strategy.
Lawsuits won’t fix education unless we simultaneously build new schools, homeschooling support networks, and curricula rooted in truth.
🔧 7 Improvements to Strengthen Lindsay’s Strategy
1. Parallel Systems: Create Biblical Alternatives
Fund and expand independent Christian schools, homeschool pods, and online academies.
Equip churches to offer biblically grounded civics, logic, and classical education.
Again, if you dismantle the woke system, you must have a moral and spiritual replacement.
2. Protect and Support Plaintiffs
Create a legal defense fund to support parents and students who take on lawsuits.
Use nonprofit groups to provide media shielding, pastoral care, and financial help.
Offer anonymity tools to collect evidence without immediate public exposure.
3. Train and Deploy “Curriculum Watchdogs”
Form local teams to audit:
SEL-infused lesson plans
CRT in math or science
Transhumanist or “well-being” conditioning in health
Train parents and pastors to identify keywords (e.g., “belonging,” “transcend,” “self-awareness”) that mask woke ideology.
4. Expose the International Web
Frame DEI/SEL not just as “leftist overreach” but as part of the UN–WEF–OECD global governance model.
Show how SDG #4 (Quality Education) and SDG #3 (Well-Being) are the spiritual roots of the SEL takeover.
5. Integrate Theological Resistance
Raise up biblical cultural critics who can refute the spiritual and moral claims of woke pedagogy.
Counter SEL’s emotional mysticism with doctrine of sin, repentance, and identity in Christ.
Preach against “psychological salvation” as a counterfeit gospel.
6. Expose STEM Corruption
Create whistleblower platforms for teachers and scientists to report ESG/SDG infiltration in STEM education.
Track how STEM is used to impose climate guilt, racial equity quotas, and transhumanist ethics.
7. Run for Local Offices
Lindsay notes lawsuits are slow. Pair them with local power grabs:
School boards
County commissioners
State boards of education
Elect biblically literate, constitutionally grounded citizens who will not just fight wokeism, but replace it with righteousness.
🧨 Final Recommendation
Don’t just make woke a legal liability, make truth a cultural authority.
The left didn’t win by lawsuits. They won by taking over language, meaning, morality, and spiritual formation. Lawsuits are only one front in the war.
To win:
We must rebuild the soul of education in homes, churches, and new institutions.
We must train a generation that fears God more than man and forms minds with truth, not therapy.
Please share this important information far and wide.
