What You’re Not Being Told About REAL ID
They say it’s just an upgraded driver’s license. They say it’s about “security.” But the REAL ID Act is nothing less than an unconstitutional National ID card and the foundation for a federal surveillance grid inside America’s borders.

In 45 states, you can get a standard state driver’s license instead of REAL ID — but you have to ask for it. DMV agents often won’t tell you.
Already have one? Switch back. Don’t wait until renewal — do it now.
2️⃣ Use a Passport Card for Travel:
A valid passport or passport card gets you through TSA — without the hidden tracking layers.
3️⃣ Demand Your State Opt Out:
Contact your state legislators: push for bills rejecting REAL ID compliance.
Florida, Texas, Georgia, Wyoming & Mississippi force REAL ID — these must be flipped back.
4️⃣ Tell Congress to Kill It:
Tell your U.S. Rep & Senators: repeal the REAL ID Act, stop “progressive enforcement,” and withdraw the TSA’s unlawful mandate.

Real ID is an unconstitutional National ID that will end state and personal sovereignty. Contact your U.S. Representative and U.S. Senator and ask them to require TSA to withdraw the “progressive reinforcement” rule and to repeal REAL ID.

I am writing as your constituent to strongly urge you to take immediate action to repeal the REAL ID Act and halt the TSA’s “progressive enforcement.”
REAL ID violates the U.S. Constitution by federalizing state driver’s licenses into a National ID card and building a domestic surveillance system through biometric tracking and internal checkpoints.
Over 30 states originally rejected REAL ID for this very reason. Americans should never need federal permission to travel within their own country.
I also urge you to support or introduce legislation that:
Withdraws the TSA’s unlawful enforcement rule.
Repeals the REAL ID Act entirely.
Protects citizens from biometric data harvesting.
