How Self-Sovereign Identity and Decentralization Are Tools of Global Enslavement
The greatest colonization in history is happening now.
To faithful Christians and liberty-minded individuals: You are being lured into a digital prison disguised as freedom.
Charles Hoskinson is not just a blockchain founder, he’s a devil’s advocate, a carefully curated archetype for the moment we’re in. The system always crafts and props up its golden boys: the eccentric genius, the rebel technologist, the savior of the disillusioned. Hoskinson fits the mold perfectly. Trotted out as the hero for a generation primed to crave meaning, rebellion, and innovation, he promises the sun, the moon, the stars—and in his case, even the aliens (seriously). But it’s all bait. A smooth-talking salesman in academic robes, leading the sheep off the digital cliff and straight into the mainframe. Let alone his transhumanist leanings pouring millions into anti-aging research and longevity science, signaling his alignment with the dehumanized biotech-medical empire that will define tomorrow’s digitized, bio-certified workforce.
In 2023, Charles Hoskinson, alongside his father and brother, both physicians—opened the Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic in Gillette, Wyoming. The $18 million facility focuses on anti-aging and regenerative medicine, a field deeply tied to the transhumanist movement’s obsession with overcoming human limits. Hoskinson proudly announced that cryptocurrency would be accepted for services in the future, signaling a clear fusion of biotech and blockchain, a preview of the digital health economy the global elite are building.
This isn’t just about wellness. It’s about the coming medical-surveillance regime, where access to care, employment, and mobility will be linked to biometric identity, behavior tracking, and programmable finance. When technocrats talk about “regeneration” and “optimization,” they aren’t thinking about healing, they’re thinking about control. Hoskinson isn’t merely disrupting healthcare; he’s helping to digitally reconstruct humanity to fit the logic of the machine.
The followers are wide-eyed and star-struck. Just glance at the comment sections under his interviews, gushing with messianic praise as if he’s the greatest human to ever walk the earth. And once enough of them are hooked, convinced they’re pioneers of a better world, the trap is sprung.
The infrastructure is already built. Now they just need the numbers to activate it: the full-blown social credit system, disguised as liberation. It’s not a revolution. It’s an initiation. And the delusion is the point.
“By any means necessary” is the progressive’s modus operandi. Truth is expendable. Whatever advances the agenda is justified, no matter how deceptive the means.
Many will insist Hoskinson isn’t building the on-ramp to the SDGs. And to be fair, he may genuinely believe he’s offering real autonomy and decentralized salvation. But intent doesn’t cancel alignment. Whether he knows it or not, he is perfectly positioned to serve the globalist and transhumanist agenda offering the digital infrastructure needed to onboard the masses into a system of total control. And once enough have signed on and the grid is live, he’ll be discarded like every useful frontman before him. He may even one day regret his role when it becomes clear that his legacy and ones like it helped build the machinery of digital slavery.
This is where spiritual discernment becomes essential. It’s not just about technical structure or surface-level intentions, it’s about ideological trajectory. The more pressing question isn’t how decentralized the system appears, but rather: What system is this truly serving and does it submit to God’s truth, or is it built to replace it? When viewed through that lens, the red flags become impossible to ignore. A system that detaches identity, governance, and morality from divine truth cannot lead to liberty. It may offer the illusion of empowerment, but in the end, it delivers compliance, control, and negative freedom.
Many Millennials and younger members of Gen Z have been shaped by a worldview of progressive technocratic optimism, a belief system that equates decentralization with democracy, views data ownership and inclusion as inherently good, and sees "impact" as a stand-in for morality, especially when aligned with SDG-friendly causes like climate, education, or equity.
This mindset rarely questions who defines access, who writes the rules, or what ideologies shape the system. They simply take the marketing jargon at its deceptive promise. The promises of "decentralization," "self-sovereign identity" (SSI), and "Web3" are seductive to the average person who feeds off the establishment’s social media ops, podcasters and fraudulent “academic” white paper gatekeepers.
As a result, they often fail to recognize deceptive power, ideological grooming, or global policy frameworks as mechanisms of control. They are willing cogs in a machine that they do not rightly perceive. Even when intentions are sincere, many in this generation have been unknowingly catechized into functional Marxist or collectivist frameworks, embracing terms like systemic repair, stakeholder governance, and equity while believing they are simply advocating for justice and empowerment.
Charles Hoskinson isn’t just the founder of Cardano, he’s the architect of its long-term ideological vision. He’s an end result of our failed educational system that’s been poisoning minds for decades to subvert America from within. (See archive for dozens of articles on this). From its inception, Cardano was never just about cryptocurrency. It was about governance, identity, and the transformation of global systems through code. That vision is now culminating in what Cardano boldly calls “The Dawn of Voltaire.” This final phase of the roadmap isn’t just technical, it’s philosophical. And the name Voltaire isn’t an accident. It reveals exactly where this system is headed and what it seeks to replace.
“The Dawn of Voltaire” is spiritually revealing. From a biblical Christian worldview, the use of this name at the final stage of Cardano’s roadmap is not accidental, it signals ideological alignment and we understand what’s communicated.
Voltaire (François-Marie Arouet, 1694–1778) was a leading figure of the French Enlightenment, a militant deist, and one of history’s most vocal critics of biblical Christianity. He famously declared, “Écrasez l’infâme!”—“Crush the infamous thing!”referring to the Church and Christian doctrine. Voltaire championed rationalism, relativism, and moral liberalism. He believed human reason should replace divine revelation, and consensus should replace absolute truth.
And isn’t “consensus” just a sanitized word for collectivism, a mechanism to erase dissent and enforce ideological conformity under the guise of shared values?
Voltaire mocked the Bible, rejected divine judgment, and promoted the idea that man, through science and governance, could perfect society without God.
The Voltaire framework shifts the source of authority from constitutional or moral truth to consensus-bound, code-based governance. That shift is less about freedom and more about centralizing moral decisions under behavioral consensus, creating fertile ground for technocratic social engineering.
Governance by code transforms moral decision-making from divine or constitutional authority into peer consensus and algorithmic enforcement.
This shift risks gamifying morality, where reputation, delegation, and popular approval substitute for objective truth, aligning closely with characteristics of the Beast system’s infrastructure: programmable compliance and social metrics.
To name Cardano’s final governance phase “The Dawn of Voltaire” is to announce a new beginning, one where the sovereignty of God is displaced by the rule of man.
Consensus and collective governance replace transcendent moral law. A blockchain constitution stands in for Scripture and natural law. Self-sovereign identity dethrones God-given identity. The word “dawn” deliberately echoes the Enlightenment’s mission to “liberate” humanity from religion, specifically, from Christianity.
Scripture speaks clearly: “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools…” (Romans 1:22). “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed...” (Psalm 2:2). The Dawn of Voltaire is not neutral branding, it is a declaration of spiritual intent. It ushers in a system of global governance built on rebellion against God's created order, dressed in the language of rationality, decentralization, and empowerment.
Naming this phase after Voltaire is a theological signal. It is the Enlightenment’s rebellion reborn, this time on a blockchain. To those with ears to hear, it marks a bold rejection of divine authority and a calculated step toward a Beast system ruled not by truth, but by digital consensus and man-made morality.
But it gets even worse, dear Christian.
The Cardano roadmap is more than a technical progression, it’s a carefully curated ideological arc, marked by the symbolic use of historical figures who represent a philosophical rebellion against divine authority. Each phase of development is named after a well-known intellectual, and the pattern is unmistakable.
The journey begins with Byron, named after Lord Byron, the Romantic poet known for his radical individualism and disdain for traditional morality. He was also the father of Ada Lovelace, the namesake of Cardano’s ADA token.
From there, it moves to Shelley, referencing Percy Bysshe Shelley, another Romantic icon and open atheist, infamous for his hatred of Christianity and institutional religion. Both poets represent the rise of emotion, subjectivism, and rebellion against God’s order, fitting names for a system built on decentralization and self-determination.
The third phase, Goguen, is named after computer scientist Joseph Goguen, a pioneer in formal logic and abstract systems. His inclusion marks a shift from poetic rebellion to mathematical precision, laying the groundwork for programmable behavior through smart contracts.
The fourth era, Basho, draws from the minimalist, spiritual naturalism of Japanese poet Matsuo Bashō. Here, the roadmap gestures toward decentralization not just of technology, but of consciousness and meaning.
Finally, we arrive at Voltaire. As a militant deist and icon of the French Enlightenment, Voltaire represents the triumph of human reason over divine revelation, and consensus over transcendent truth. To call the final governance phase “The Dawn of Voltaire” is to symbolically inaugurate a new age, one where human systems replace God’s authority, and programmable consensus replaces biblical justice.
Cardano’s roadmap is not spiritually neutral. It traces the path from Romantic rebellion to Enlightenment rationalism to decentralized digital governance. It is the architecture of a modern Tower of Babel, a global system built on man’s authority, not God’s. It’s all happening.
Like all utopian engineers before him, he seeks to remake the world through systems, not through truth. Blockchain replaces the State, consensus replaces conscience, and identity becomes a programmable asset. It’s the same collectivist spirit dressed in next-gen tech: a world rebuilt not on repentance, but on code. Whether he understands the ideological roots or not, his work carries the DNA of Marxist materialism, where man is not made in God’s image, but in the image of the system.
And the most heartbreaking part? Younger generations are cheering it on. They’ve been primed to believe that decentralization means freedom, that consensus is truth, and that programmable “SSI” identity is empowerment. What they’re embracing with zeal is not liberation, it’s digital captivity dressed in utopian language. It’s a cult of innovation, high on the illusion of progress, feverishly evangelizing for the very system that will enslave them. It’s not just deception. It’s devotion to deception. And it’s tragic to watch.
A system that deems moral absolutes oppressive and redefines identity apart from the unchanging standard of virtue and divine truth cannot and will not deliver freedom, only bondage.
Take note, their proposed systemic solution is NOT designed to honor truth. When they say “trust,” they don’t mean truth. They mean surveillance.
Behind this carefully crafted utopian veneer lies global domination, one that is more totalizing than any empire or colonial power in history.
Indeed decentralization is sold as liberation from government control. In reality, it replaces visible rulers with invisible code, peer consensus, and global enforcement mechanisms. Blockchain systems, smart contracts, and SSI do not remove control, they redistribute and automate it. Instead of human tyrants, you are ruled by machines programmed with ideological assumptions.
"Web of Trust" and "community verification" sound like grassroots accountability. In truth, they are the new digital panopticon, every behavior rated, tracked, and scored by peers and algorithms. This isn’t freedom. It’s total governance, networked, behavioral, and borderless…. it’s surveliiance 24/7.
Lex Libertas or Lex Technocratia?
The Christian face of globalist decentralization? What appears righteous may, in fact, be a snare. Without discernment, we risk lending our witness to the very system that sets itself against the Lamb.
The Modern Stewards of Ancient Rebellion
The system of Christless discipleship, empowered by the spirit of Antichrist, is being erected all around us. Though its exact boundaries may still seem unclear, many of us feel its presence encroaching.
Who defines what makes you trustworthy? Who sets the criteria for valid credentials? Who has access to your claims, and what happens when you refuse to comply?
The coming technocratic system is being built on frameworks like Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) and the Web of Trust. Again, these concepts are marketed as tools of freedom, privacy, and decentralization. In truth, they are the infrastructure of surveillance, social control, and global behavioral enforcement.
These “Verified Claims” within your digital ID will not reflect God's righteousness. They will encode human-engineered morality, scoring and credentialing behavior to match the values of a Christless system.
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
(Jeremiah 17:9)
SSI is not self-sovereignty.
It is literal slavery to the Beast.
“Self-sovereign identity” reduces the human person to a digital performance profile:
You are who the system says you are—The sum total of verifiable claims, behavior logs, and social scores, permanently recorded on a blockchain ledger.
They call it voluntary while they make all other options obsolete (or “shameful”) until you can’t (or won’t) rent, buy, work, or travel without it.
Life in the Gamification
Life under this system is not liberation, it’s Gamification. Self-sovereign identity (SSI) promises that you “own your identity,” but in reality, it replaces your God-given identity with a digitized profile, managed by peers, algorithms, and global networks. Your worth is no longer rooted in being made in the image of God, but in the image of your digital footprint, a collection of behavioral, ideological, and reputational credentials. Salvation is redefined as obedience to consensus, and without SSI verification, access to basic necessities—resources, services, employment, even freedom of movement can be denied. This system rewards moral relativism, not repentance, and it punishes biblical conviction, not sin. SSI is not a tool of empowerment; it is not a digital passport, it is a gateway into global servitude.
Decentralized is the shape of tyranny to come
The convergence of artificial intelligence, blockchain, and virtual reality has engendered a society increasingly comfortable with digital identities, relegating the physical and spiritual aspects of human existence to secondary concerns. While offering unprecedented connectivity, the digitization of identity risks reducing individuals to mere data points in a global network, stripping them of their God-given uniqueness and dignity.
The gamification of societal interactions transforms complex human experiences into quantifiable, manageable tasks and rewards, coercing a lifestyle where efficiency and productivity are prioritized over depth and meaning. This shift towards seeing life as a game to be won, with humans as players or pawns, reflects humanity's deeper desire, expressed in the Fall (Genesis 3:5), to assert control over chaos and uncertainty.
A “Web of Trust” without the Truth
The system’s version of “trust” is not rooted in truth or righteousness, it is built on algorithmic consensus, peer ratings, and community compliance. This is not justice; it’s mob rule disguised as governance, technocratic relativism in place of moral law.
Because the system is shaped by Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and lifelong ideological conditioning, its definition of “trustworthy” will always exclude those who hold to biblical truth.
In this world, sin doesn’t exist, only “harm.” Repentance is rebranded as re-education, faith is treated as defiance, and the true biblical Christian is enemy number one.
The new colonizers are globalists, technocrats, and behavioral engineers. Unlike previous empires that colonized land and bodies, this system seeks to colonize all human souls. It replaces:
God's identity with self-constructed avatars
Objective morality with programmable consensus
Law and due process with stakeholder governance
Nations with cloud-based jurisdictions
At the helm are not kings or presidents, but unelected bodies: the UN, WEF, central banks, Silicon Valley technocrats, the Club of Rome, and philanthropic elites. Their digital colonialism uses climate policy, public health, and equity mandates to justify restructuring every area of life.
There Is no liberty without Truth & Virtue
Jesus said,
"Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32).
A world system untethered from divine (eternal, unchanging) truth can only lead to oppression. When morality is defined by consensus and identity is verified by algorithms, the result is not liberty, it is universal surveillance and submission.
This is why faithful Christians, or anyone who loves liberty grounded in virtue, must reject this false digital gospel in all its forms. Scripture defines liberty: freedom from bondage to sin. Our Constitutional Republic was founded on the concept of freedom from tyranny and sought to restrain that sinful urge to dominate and control that runs like a thread through the heart of every man.
Only, the gospel of Jesus Christ offers true freedom, freedom from sin and death, not a synthetic freedom based on behavioral tokens and global compliance.
Expose the lie. Speak clearly about the spiritual and political dangers of SSI and decentralization.
Refuse integration. Avoid systems that require verifiable credentials for participation in life.
Build parallel structures. Invest in communities grounded in eternal truth, not ever-changing programmable ethics (evolving morality).
Preach the true gospel. Our identity is in Christ, not credentials.
Our freedom will never be found in liberation from the moral law, but only in submission to the Savior, our eternal King.
People and Nations that reject Christ and divine law are doomed.
The dream of a decentralized utopia will become the nightmare of the most sophisticated tyranny in human history. Do not be deceived. The colonization of Earth is not coming by force of arms—but by data, consensus, and digital chains.
Only Christ sets the captives free. All other paths lead to the darkest bondage.
How Deloitte’s 2025 Report Maps the Making of Modern Serfs
Disguised as a workforce insights study, Deloitte’s 2025 Gen Z and Millennial Survey reads less like a forecast and more like a manual for behavioral programming. Promoting “lifelong learning” and AI fluency as non-negotiable virtues, the report redefines career satisfaction as the merging of emotional compliance, purpose-driven work, and perpetual skil…
Note to Readers: If this topic resonates with you or raises questions, please send me a direct message. I’ve written additional articles in the archive that further expose the roots and realities of SSI, decentralization, verified claims, and the Web of Trust.
These technologies are not neutral, they are the fruits of UN-aligned think tanks and global planning groups. They are marketed as empowering solutions to the uninformed, and tragically, even many of the people working within these systems are unaware that they are building, promoting and onboarding the infrastructure for digital enslavement.
It’s a clever net, and once enough are inside, they will slam the door shut. Let us sound the alarm while we still can.
A dangerous synthesis of false piety and digital power is advancing.
If we fail to remain rooted in divine truth and stay vigilant, we may unknowingly align ourselves with the very Beast system we are called to oppose.
Thank you for your time and attention.
Soli Deo Gloria.

Despite his courageous exposure of ANC tyranny and Marxist violence, Ernst Roets’ Lex Libertas project cloaks the very decentralization framework envisioned by the UN’s Agenda 2030. By invoking Christian virtue, stewardship, and the classical telos, Roets functions as a soft operator for stakeholder technocracy, offering a spiritualized on-ramp to the SDG order under the guise of autonomy.

But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any one of them, that person is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand.
